Well hello Traveling Plant! I hear you’ll be coming this way soon. I may or may not cross paths with you but I will feel you in my own wanderings. You see, there is always space for the interloper in this ever-changing ecology. I recently found out that the extremely well-adapted Himalayan Blackberry is actually Armenian. Some say it’s invasive. I prefer to call it opportunistic. Like humans. Forces keep it in check, sometimes in the nick of time. In any case, I suspect there is only one of you and that hearing the cautionary tale of the Armenian Blackberry you might be more humble in your seedings. I wish you the best in your uprooted travels. You are truly an inspiration to all the plants that I have told your story to.
